Big Eye Tuna

Scientific name: Thunnus Obesus.
The bigeye tuna is quite similar to the bluefin tuna from which it stands out above all for the bigger eye and the barrel shape (hence the name) since the maximum body height is reached in the center of the first dorsal fin. The coloring is dark blue on the back while on the sides and on the belly it is whitish. Along the sides runs an iridescent bluish band visible only in living specimens.
