Scientific name:Cynoglossus Senegalensis.
Better known as Lengua of Senegal, it is particularly present in FAO zones 1, 34 and 47. Flat and elongated body; widely rounded muzzle, its rather short rostral hook, which extends to the level of the anterior nostril. It is found on sandy and mud bottoms of coastal waters. It feeds on molluscs, shrimps, crabs and fish.
